Local team at Fastway Couriers continue their winning streak

Fastway Couriers  Tauranga has received yet another national award recently. Following local Courier Franchisee Bill Sampson who took out top honours at the recent Westpac New Zealand Franchise of the Year Awards 2009/2010, fellow courier Todd Hinton has now achieved the runner up award for National Courier Franchisee of the year at Saturday’s annual Fastway Couriers Franchise Awards.

Todd and his wife Debbie have been in the Fastway Couriers business for almost nine years and put their winning formula down to complete focus on customer service, and ensuring they do everything to the highest standard possible. They were very humbled by the award, and commented that they “simply do what is best for the customer, and keep a positive attitude”.

Owner of Fastway Couriers Tauranga, Regional Franchise Hugh Stocker said, “We are so proud of Todd, and the continuing winning nature of our team. Todd never drives out the door without being immaculately presented, his van is always spotless, his uniform pristine, and he always has a smile on his face. The award couldn’t have gone to a more dedicated franchisee”.

Todd’s attitude towards his customers - always putting them first and going that extra mile – impressed the judges. Todd and Debbie won this award over 268 other courier franchisees throughout New Zealand, and were only one step behind overall winner Colin Lowe from Auckland.

This award adds to both the business service category award and the prestigious supreme award for Franchisee of the Year 2009 won by fellow Tauranga Courier Franchisee Bill Sampson at the Westpac New Zealand franchise awards.

The Fastway courier franchise network boasts more than 1600 franchisees worldwide.
